We drink and review Half Acre Beer Company's (Chicago, IL) Oktoberfest beer, a märzen called Lager Town (6% ABV). We also drink another Oktoberfest beer from Epidemic Ales (Concord, CA), which is a dark lager called Schwarzhammer (5% ABV).
We discuss LA County's restrictions which banned on-premises consumption on breweries with taprooms but no kitchen...which got lifted after we recorded. (face palm). We also discuss Five Octoberfest beer worth trying this year, if you can find them.

We drink and review a double New England-style IPA called Haze of the Dead (8.5% ABV) brewed by DESTIHL Brewery (Normal, IL). We also drink and review and American IPA brewed by Strike Brewing Company (San Jose, CA) called Pine Tar Incident (7% ABV).

We also drink and review a collaboration west coast-style IPA called Friends With Social Distances (6.3% ABV) brewed by Altamont Beer Works (Livermore, CA) and Hop Dogma (Half Moon Bay, CA).

Two collaboration beers! We drink and review the hazy coffee IPA collaboration called Wizards & Gargoyles (7% ABV) brewed by Stone Brewing (Escondido, CA) and Modern Times Beer (San Diego, CA). We also drink and review a double IPA brewed by Altamont Beer Works (Livermore, CA) in collaboration with HenHouse Brewing Company (Petaluma, CA) called Hella Stoked (8.2%).
We discuss Stone's goofy marketing scheme and Surly's response to their employees trying to unionize. Our Cöld Brüe List is the top ten movies by Mel Brooks.
The second half of the show is all NFL football. First, Sorcerer Chromatic has is Coach's Corner segment wherein we discuss the teams with new head coaches this season. Then we predict what the standings will be at the end of the regular season.

We drink and review a west coast-style double IPA called You So Fine (8% ABV) brewed by Noble Ale Works (Anaheim, CA). We also drink and review an imperial chocolate milk stout with mint called MegaMint (9% ABV) brewed by Heathen Brewing (Vancouver, WA).
Greg talks with Rachel Beerkowski, current bartender at Bonehaus Brewing in Fountain Hills, AZ, and future beer historian at university or museum near you. They talk about the beer, music, sports, and history (kinda).
